Overview
Newport and Quendon & Rickling Parish Councils, as the qualifying bodies, submitted the Review of the Newport, Quendon and Rickling Neighbourhood Plan and accompanying documents to Uttlesford District Council on 02 June 2026.
Uttlesford District Council confirmed on 29 June 2026 that the Neighbourhood Plan submission complies with the requirements of Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).
Formal acknowladgement of receipt of the Newport,Quendon and Rickling Neighbourhood Plan
Consultation Period The consultation will run for a 6-week period commencing on Monday 13 July 2026 to 23:59 on Monday 07 September 2026.
The submitted Neighbourhood Plan Review and accompanying documents are available to view on the Newport and Quendon & Rickling Parish Councils' Neighbourhood Plan website
A copy of the Newport Neighbourhood Plan Review document is also available for viewing at the Council Offices, London Road, Saffron Walden, Essex, CB11 4ER
Representations received during the consultation period will be submitted to the independent examiner for consideration as part of the examination of the Neighbourhood Plan Review.
